Terms of Service
These Terms govern use of DexURL short links (including links on dexurl.net), QR tools, vault, link pages, custom domains, and related services. DexURL is operated from Malaysia.
1. Account Creation and Billing
You need a valid account to create and manage links. Paid Pro subscriptions are processed through Stripe. DexURL Pro includes a 7-day trial for eligible first-time users; see the Billing & Refund Policy for charge, cancellation, and account-deletion rules. Deleting an account is permanent and does not restore a later first-time trial.
The Billing, Trial & Cancellation Policy forms part of these Terms. DexURL Pro renews automatically every month or every year, depending on the plan you choose, until you cancel. Prices are in USD and exclude any applicable taxes.
2. Acceptable Use Policy
You are responsible for the links, pages, and content you create. You may not use DexURL for:
- phishing or credential harvesting
- malware or other harmful software
- scams, fraud, or deceptive offers
- spam or bulk unsolicited messages
- illegal content or activity
- child sexual abuse material or any sexual exploitation of minors
- harassment, threats, or hate directed at people or groups
- impersonating a person, brand, or organization
- infringing someone else's copyright, trademark, or other rights
Links that break these rules may be disabled and reviewed through the abuse process, and accounts that repeatedly break them may be suspended. Required safety warnings cannot be turned off on any plan. DexURL does not publish a monthly click limit, but usage is subject to fair use: if one account generates traffic far beyond normal product use, or uses automated traffic to inflate it, DexURL may contact the account holder and apply limits.
To report a link, Bio page, or other content, including a copyright, trademark, or other legal claim, use the abuse report page at dexurl.com/abuse. We review reports and may disable links or pages.
3. Your Content
You keep ownership of what you create on DexURL. You give DexURL a limited license to store, display, and redirect it as needed to run the service for you. You are responsible for your content and links, and you confirm you have the rights to use them.
4. Bio Handles and Link Addresses
Bio page handles and short-link addresses are first come, first served, on every plan. A handle or address does not become your property, and DexURL never sells them. We may reclaim or rename a handle or address that impersonates a person or organization, infringes a trademark, or is used in breach of the Acceptable Use Policy.
A deleted short-link address is retired and never given to anyone else, so printed QR codes cannot be taken over. When you delete a Bio page, or rename one, its old handle stays reserved for your workspace for 90 days; after that it can be claimed again.
5. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or older if your country sets a higher age for online accounts, to create a DexURL account.
6. Availability and Changes
Features may change, be added, or be removed as the product develops, and fair-use limits may apply to protect the service for everyone. We provide the service on a best-effort availability basis; DexURL does not offer a service-level agreement or uptime guarantee.
7. Disclaimer of Liability
DEXURL provides link routing on an "as-is" basis. We design for resilience, but uninterrupted routing cannot be guaranteed if third-party DNS, hosting, or payment providers fail.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DexURL's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid DexURL in the 12 months before the claim arose. DexURL is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits any right or liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Termination
You may stop using DexURL at any time and delete your account from Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate the Acceptable Use Policy, engage in abuse or fraud, or fail to pay amounts owed. Where practical, we will try to give notice before suspending an account for reasons other than abuse or fraud.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are handled under those laws, subject to any mandatory consumer rights where you live.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the product changes. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date on this page. Continued use of DexURL after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
