Billing, Trial & Cancellation Policy

This policy covers billing cycles, the 7-day Pro trial, cancellations, refunds, downgrades, and data retention for DexURL Pro.

1. Subscription Billing Cycles

DexURL Pro is billed monthly or yearly, at the price shown at checkout (currently $9/month USD or $90/year USD, which is 2 months free). You choose the interval at checkout, and your subscription renews at that interval until you cancel.

Payments are processed by Stripe. DexURL does not store your full card details. Invoices and billing records are available through the Stripe customer portal and may be emailed by Stripe.

Prices are in USD and exclude any applicable taxes.

2. 7-Day Free Trial

DexURL Pro includes a 7-day free trial for eligible first-time users. A later registration after account deletion is not a new first-time account for trial purposes and receives Free or paid Checkout without another trial.

You will not be charged when the trial starts. Your payment method may be collected to activate the trial and prepare your subscription.

If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged.

If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your DexURL Pro subscription will automatically begin and your payment method will be charged the Pro fee for the interval you chose.

For monthly billing, the first charge will be the monthly Pro subscription fee. For yearly billing, the first charge will be the yearly Pro subscription fee. The 7-day trial is the same on both.

3. Trial Reminder

DexURL may send a reminder before your trial ends, such as 24 hours before the first charge.

This reminder is provided as a convenience. You remain responsible for managing your subscription and canceling before the trial ends if you do not want to continue with DexURL Pro.

4. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your DexURL Pro subscription at any time from Settings → Billing → Manage billing (Stripe Customer Portal).

If you cancel during the free trial, your Pro access will end at the end of the trial period or immediately, depending on the cancellation flow shown in your account.

If you cancel after your subscription has already been charged, your plan will remain active until the end of the current paid billing period. After that period ends, your workspace will be downgraded to the Free tier.

Cancellation stops future renewals. It does not automatically refund charges that have already been processed.

5. Refund Policy

DexURL does not provide automatic refunds after the 7-day free trial has ended and the subscription charge has been processed.

Refunds may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis for situations such as:

If a refund is approved, it will be processed back to the original payment method through the payment provider. Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment method, bank, or card issuer.

6. Downgrade After Cancellation

When a paid subscription ends, the workspace will move to the Free tier.

After downgrade:

DexURL may archive Pro configurations instead of deleting them immediately. This allows users to restore settings if they upgrade again in the future.

7. Data & Configuration Grace Period

After a subscription ends, DexURL may provide a limited housekeeping grace period before permanently removing or disabling certain Pro-only configurations.

During this period, users may be able to export data, update links, remove custom domains, or back up important settings.

The length and availability of this grace period may vary depending on the account status, billing history, and abuse-prevention requirements.

8. Failed Payments

If a renewal payment fails, DexURL may retry the payment through the payment provider.

During the failed-payment period, Pro access may remain temporarily active, be restricted, or be downgraded depending on the account status.

If payment is not completed after the retry period, the subscription may be canceled or downgraded to the Free tier.

9. Plan Changes

If you upgrade or downgrade, the effect on your billing may depend on the timing of the change and the billing rules shown at checkout or in your billing portal.

Some changes may apply immediately. Others may apply at the start of the next billing cycle.

10. Abuse, Fraud, and Policy Violations

DexURL may deny refunds, restrict access, or terminate subscriptions if an account is involved in abuse, fraud, phishing, malware distribution, spam, payment disputes, or violations of DexURL’s acceptable use policies.

Safety-related link warnings, abuse blocks, takedowns, and suspicious-link interstitials cannot be disabled, even on paid plans.
