Bookmark Import

Bring folders and links from Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, Brave, or Opera into your private Vault, and review everything before anything is saved.

Free includes 25 bookmarks; Pro is unlimited. HTML import and export stay on Free within that cap. CSV import and export are Pro.

A normal website cannot read the bookmarks currently stored in your browser. Export an HTML file from the desktop bookmark manager, then choose that file in Vault. Most mobile browsers cannot export bookmarks; save the desktop file to Files, iCloud Drive, Google Drive, or Downloads and select it on your phone.

1. Chrome / Edge / Brave / Opera / Vivaldi: open the bookmark or favorites manager and choose Export bookmarks / Export favorites.
2. Firefox: Library window → Import and Backup → Export Bookmarks to HTML.
3. Safari on Mac: File → Export → Bookmarks. Safari on iPhone and iPad cannot export directly.
4. In DexURL Vault, choose Import bookmarks, review folders, then confirm. Unsupported schemes such as javascript: are skipped per item.
5. Export a Netscape Bookmark HTML file whenever you want. HTML exports are plaintext. Optional .dexvault backups preserve folders, tags, and pin state, are password-encrypted in your browser, and cannot be imported into Chrome or Safari. To restore one, use Import bookmarks, choose the .dexvault file, and enter the same password — DexURL unlocks it in your browser. CSV import and export are Pro.
