How to Build a Simple Link Page for Your Profile
· DexURL Guides · 4 min read
Publish one short page at dexurl.com/@yourname, lead with the single action you care about most, and put secondary links beneath it. Visitors decide in seconds, so length costs you clicks.
A bio link page is a public profile URL such as dexurl.com/@yourname. Put your primary destinations there: portfolio, booking, store, social profiles, and contact.
Lead with one action
The most common mistake is treating the page as a directory of everything you have ever made. Visitors arriving from a profile give you a few seconds and a narrow screen. Every extra link competes with the one you actually care about, so decide what a visit is worth to you — a booking, a sale, a signup — and put that first, alone.
Secondary links go underneath, grouped so the eye can skip them. Ordering is a decision, not a default: put the link you want clicked where the thumb already is.
What you can put on it
- Socials, shown as an icon row you can position above or below the main links.
- Content blocks for video, audio, and maps, so a visitor can watch or find you without leaving the page.
- A contact block with WhatsApp, Telegram, Messenger, LINE, or a custom channel — useful when the action you want is a conversation rather than a click.
Make it look intentional when shared
Most people meet your page as a preview card in a chat or a feed, not as a page. Pro removes DexURL branding and lets you set the social preview text, which is the difference between a link that looks considered and one that looks auto-generated. Free publishes one page and keeps the branding.
Check it the way visitors will
After publishing, open the page on an actual phone rather than a narrowed desktop window, scan the QR, and click every destination. Campaign links rot quietly, and the page is the last place you will notice — which makes a quick pass after each campaign change worth the two minutes.
Plan limits and the publishing steps are in Bio and link pages.
